Option positions, account tags, cash balances, held shares, and premium figures you enter are processed entirely in your browser and saved only to your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to our servers. We could not see them if we wanted to — there is no server-side storage of your portfolio data, and no account or login exists. Clearing your browser's site data deletes your positions; use Export CSV to keep a backup.
To show live prices and profit/loss, the tool sends a price-lookup request for each open position containing only the ticker symbol, expiration date, strike price, and option type — the minimum needed to look up that contract's current market price. Your account tags, cash balances, premium collected, and any notes are never included in that request.
Standard anonymous web analytics (page views, referrer, country, browser type) to understand how the site is used. No cookies are required for the calculator itself to function.
Price lookups are proxied through our own server to a public delayed market-data feed (CBOE); no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no sale of personal information.
